My name is Kayla Robison and I'm a senior majoring in History at the Mississippi University for Women. Upon graduation I hope to find a career that allows me to share information with the public whether it be teaching, writing or working in a museum.  This project has been created to underline an important time in American history that helped society progress and gave a voice to those who were silenced before.
